General terms and conditions

Presently sales from our online shop are only available in Sweden.

All prices at Victoria Soap Online Store include 25% Swedish VAT. We reserve the right for any possible price errors or price adjustments. If you are under 18 years of age you must have parental permission to order from our company.

Victoria Soap also reserves the right for possible printing errors and even discrepancies of colour shown on Victoria Online Store. Our ambition is that photos taken of our products are a true likeness and as close as possible resemble the product as seen in hand. All our goods remain the property of Victoria Soap until full payment has been made to our company.

 

Order and confirmation terms and conditions

By placing an order you automatically agree to the terms and conditions of purchase of Victoria Soap Online and your order is therein a binding contract between you as the customer and us the supplier at Victoria Soap Online. When you have placed your order ,you have agreed to pay Victoria Soap Online the total amount of your purchase. When we have received your order, you will automatically receive an email confirmation to the email address you registered with us. The email you receive is even a guarantee of payment in full.

Victoria Soap Online would like to make a reservation of terms and conditions of order if our database has shown an incorrect stock status at the time point when your order was placed. Should Victoria Soap not be able to deliver your order in accordance to your order placed with us, we will contact you and give you the possibility to adjust or cancel your order.

Payment terms and conditions

At www.victoriasoap.se we use Klarna Checkout for all our payments made in Sweden. Any questions concerning payment are referred to Klarna Customer Service at telephone no: 08-120 120 10. More information in full concerning terms of payment can be found at : www.klarna.com

Delivery terms and conditions

Victoria Soap Online uses Schenker postal service. Normally we send orders within 1-4 working days. In the case of a greater amount of orders being placed online than usual i.e., during sales campaigns etc., delivery may take an extra day longer.

Victoria Soap takes full responsibility for any damages or losses incurred during transportation from our warehouse to you. You, as the customer, are responsible for any returns you wish to make to us. We can however, not take liability for delivery or return delays caused by Schenker.

Delivery will be made to the nearest Schenker service point that is in the vicinity of the address given on the order you have placed. When your order is packed we will send you a delivery confirmation by email that informs you how to follow the order in transit. When it has arrived at the Schenker service point you will receive a text message with a pin code. This code and a form of legal identification is required by the Schenker service point at the time of picking up your order. If your package is damaged by any means then it is important that you inform the Schenker service point directly at the point of pick-up that you will not accept the delivery and that you want to return it immediately due to damage caused in transit. Your order will be returned to us.

Unclaimed orders

Victoria Soap will debit you 250 kr for unclaimed online orders to cover our costs entailed. If you have placed an order and wish to change or cancel the order then you should return the order directly at the Schenker service point. You will be fully reimbursed for your order with the exception of the postage costs.

Withdrawal rights/Returns

Victoria Soap is not satisfied until you, the customer, are satisfied. When you shop online at Victoria Soap you are always entitled to a 14-day withdrawal period. This begins from the day that you collect your order at the Schenker service point. Note that the package must remain sealed and not have been opened. To return an order please contact our customer service at custormerservice@victoriasoap.se to receive a return slip. All costs for postage of returns are your responsibility. You need a receipt of return for the goods you are returning from the Schenker service point as proof of return incase of any loss in transit.

Reimbursement will be dealt with directly after we have received the return order undamaged. The amount paid for the order, not including postage, will be credited to your account from which you paid for the order within 5-10 working days. 

Customer complaints / reclaim terms

At Victoria Scandinavian Soap AB we give you the customer, the possibility to lodge a claim up to 3 years from receiving the product you ordered if you are not satisfied with the product in hand. As a customer, you are entitled to to reclaim a damaged product within a reasonable period of time from discovering the damage. Please reclaim asap.

Please give your order number when contacting us.

In conjunction with reclaiming an order the product should be returned to us at the above address. We will examine the product upon arrival and when the complaint is approved we will deal with the claim according to the consumer purchase law conditions (1990:932) by firstly repairing the product or secondly by delivering a new product. In certain cases it might be relevant to reduce the price of the product or that we reimburse you as the customer.

We will pay in full postage costs when your reclaim has been approved and even other costs acquired as a result of your reclaim. Please show your receipt of purchase as proof. Also make note that your responsibility as the customer is to minimise the reclaim costs withheld. We will only reimburse reasonable claims.

The product will be examined from the complaint point of view made by you , the customer. Therefore it is important that you give a good description of the fault of the product to our customer complaints department. If we consider the product not to be damaged or exposed to other mistreatment and the claim is not approved, you will be debited for the costs entailed in the examination of the product and postage.

Force Majeure

Victoria Soap is exempt from the customer agreement terms and conditions should circumstances beyond our control arise. Circumstances beyond our control could be of the following nature; measures or legal proceedings taken by authorities not within our control, labour market conflicts, blockades, fire, flooding, sabotage or any larger scale accidents or natural disasters.

This exemption remains relevant even if Victoria Soap itself is the object of for example labour market conflicts and blockades or is forced to take conflict measures from the part of the company.

Within the Force Majeure paragraph are even decisions made by authorities that negatively affect the market and products for example warning lables, sales prohibition etc, or a unnatural downfall of the market including if the company is subject to any criminal activity that affects business activity.

Disputes

As a consumer, if a dispute should arise, you can refer the dispute to Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden (ARN). The Swedish authority for complaints on a higher level. Our policy is to follow the recommendations made by ARN. You can contact ARN via their homepage www.arn.se, or by sending a letter to:

The policy aims to clarify the transparancy of Victoria Soap concerning our handling of personal details at different stages when visiting victoriasoap.se. This privacy policy is updated and clarified in accordance with the rules stipulated for GDPR that came into force on 25th of May 2018.
